London to Brighton Summary

London to Brighton Summary - It was a well organised, and challenging event, I would recommend it to anyone who can cycle 30+ km in one go.

London to Brighton Summary

We set off at 06:30 to get the first of two trains to London, and what would be a very long day!

The journey was kind to us, and we got to the University of Roehampton, our starting point very quickly, once there it was a matter of picking up some additional information from the organisers, and getting in the queue to start.

I have put a link to the route on JustGoRide, and a link to the next event (2013) is at British Heart Foundation. I am currently contemplating entering both this and the on-road events next year!

Needless to say, the journey was a true test of endurance, and took me 8:30, while Mervin completed it in 10:00, obviously as we were on bikes, I didn't stop to get many photos, but have added what I could gather below.

It was a well organised, and challenging event, I would recommend it to anyone who can cycle 30+ km in one go.
