2012 Charity Figures
Snowdon – 14/04/2012
Gordy, Sai and I went up and down the mountain (7 miles distance, 2550 ft ascent) in 07:30 hours, with a team from P2C, it was chilly but sunny.
The evening was rounded off with the hottest madras curry I have ever eaten.
A thoroughly deserved pint was consumed after.

Ben Nevis – 01/09/2012
Sian, Sai, Mervin (The Home Office), Raja (Deloitte) and I went up and down (10.5 miles distance, 4400 ft ascent) in 08:00 hours, the weather for this onewas atrocious, but that only made getting to the top all the sweeter.
A thoroughly deserved pint was consumed after (or several and whisky).

Coming back down, the fog had lifted, and we could actually see things/the stairs the next day (see video in blog).
London to Brighton Off Road Cycle Ride – 22/09/2012
Mervin and myself cycled (75 miles distance, 4100ft of ascents) from London to Brighton separately in the end, in approx times of 10:00 and 8:30 respectively, it was cold and dry, but the mostgruelling cycle ride I have ever done!
Leaving London at about 08:00, we cycled to the outskirts of Guildford, then down to Brighton. Only about 10% of the journey was on tarmac, so it made the journey a lot more difficult than a straight cycle ride.
A thoroughly deserved pint (or two) was consumed after, notice the theme appearing here?
